Hawksley
45 - M - "Storm Scout"

An archer and scout, uses weather conditions to distort the playing field and get the upper hand. Rigorous trainer, puts his whole team through intense weather conditioning and training to hone their abilities to fight in any condition.

Hawksley does not have many friends or close acquaintances, he has the sort of disposition that does not lead to people getting along with him so well. It's not that he is rude, or even unpleasant, he is just very serious and stern. He is never known to raise his voice or even speak out on anything that bothers him.

Hawksley comes across as being fairly secretive, but in reality it's more a case of people not bothering to get close enough to him to actually ask questions... such as Is Hawksley your real name? What's your last name?? Where are you even from???

Despite this sort of closeted nature, Hawksley has been known to take apprentices in the past, attempt to teach them the ways of scouting - and less so, storm scouting - and regardless of never outwardly declaring affection (for anyone other than his pokemon, of course) he does care deeply for those who train under him.

Cinderbeak

Hawksley's main means of transport and all around most effective fighter, Cinderbeak has been with Hawksley since he began scouting. The two of them have their dynamic down to a fine art and Cinderbeak is by far the most valuable member of the team. They rarely have to verbally communicate with one another, and Hawksley has developed particular hand signals which Cinderbeak follows easily, making him also the most deadly fighter when it comes to being stealthy.

Hawksley's pride and joy, Gold is the first pokemon that Hawks truly took a shine to outside of just being a weapon for combat (though he now looks at all his pokemon as friends more than tools, Gold was the one who started this.) He is prone to risk taking and moves that would normally be considered stupid, but Hawks trusts him implicitly and they rarely butt heads over the dumb shit they are both prone to doing.

Torn is unpredictable and hard to follow in combat, which is precisely the reason Hawksley uses him. He is ridiculously steadfast, despite appearances, and very good with on the fly tactics. He is incredibly, insanely, fond of Hawksley and is rarely not glued to his side. Hawks doesn't mind this at all, cause he makes a good scarf.
